    Good-bye dude. Take care.

We in NYC will take excellent care of the L&T Casey. We do that here in NYC. We take care of our own.

    Cheerio, says my Irish grandma.

Pretend I’m stupid. Is that a real picture? And if it is, how in the hell is that not illegal? Seriously. Why aren’t they drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette also?

  • HOLY SHIT. So the person who is right (Nate) is not really right because the person who is wrong (U of CO) is wrong? Cuz they both use math.

This deserves a big fat LOLWUT?

The “Binders full of Women” thing for me was the most stunning part of the debate. And a lost opportunity (yeah I know – Monday morning quarterbacking). But the response should have been: “Really Governor? You did that? Fabulous. So, you’re for affirmative action?”

May I please break this tie?

Charles K on Fox said it was a tie. Why? Because if you were “just listening” Biden won. If not, Ryan won. Why? Cuz pretty is the BESTEST? I dunno. But like I said before:

Everyone chill. Read Nate. Last election I had a piece of paper that tracked the election. And also, I tracked what Nate predicted. Guess what? Nate’s predictions were within .0003%. Even for elections as dumb as dog catcher. Trust Nate.

Also? Stop calling me a geek.

Everyone chill. Read Nate. Last election I had a piece of paper that tracked the election plus what Nate predicted. Guesss what? Nate’s predictions were within .0003%. Even for elections as dumb as dog catcher. Trust Nate.

Totally OT, but I am in love with Cartman. If I could, I would marry Cartman.

    I am not joking.

In case you care, Charles K on FOX said that it was a tie because if you “just listened” Joe B won. But if you “watched” Ryan won.

So….pretty(ish) over substance – or young over old? I dunno why. I turned it off.

I have had it with this BS about the gov’t telling the Catholic church what to do. All O said was “if you want federal $, you have to follow federal law.” If they don’t want to do that then turn away the $. OH WAIT – the Catholic church cannot turn away federal $. They have paid out billions to little boys they raped. They need the federal $.

The bizarre thing about Romney’s comment was that he thinks that the 47% that is with Obama is exactly the 47% who don’t pay federal income taxes. That can’t be a coincidence. We’ve all been talking about the fact that among the 47% is a large number of people who do not know they are in the 47%. I buy that. I know many of them. But what about the other side of the same coin? I am in the 47% who absolutely, positvely will vote for Obama. And I pay close to $50,000 a year in taxes. Which is 5 times what I get back in good and services from the government and close to 13 times what the average American FAMILY pays. And I am perfectly fine with that. Does he not know people like me exist?

This may sound weird, but here’s the thing. I have lived in NYC for 30 years. NYC is not really a big city. It is a whole lotta little towns that when put together make a big city. Ask any NY’er. I have a friend who has lived in the Theatre district for 20 years and he has never been below 14th Street or above 86th. And it’s not that he purposely stays away, he just has found the “town” that he prefers. I live in Queens and I only go to Manhattan to work. Everything else is available to me in my own little town. So do not worry for her safety or contentment. She’ll find her little town where she feels safe and secure.

Regarding moving around I agree that the subway, by far, is the best way around town. And it is safe 24 hours a day. Truly. And we love to give out of towners directions so don’t be afraid to ask. We truly are nice people.
