holymoe commented on the blog post Bill Hemrick Is Not Very Good At This Movement Politics Thing
Wait a minute people…you’re all missing the real story here: This is classic “frivolous” litigation. Textbook “lawsuit abuse.” Hemrick apparantly didn’t get the Hot Coffee memo from Republican HQ. As the Tennessean notes:
Hemrick has been involved in other lawsuits related to the Tea Party movement. Last year, he filed a lawsuit in Williamson County accusing Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips of backing out of a partnership deal and spreading defamatory comments about him. Phillips said the lawsuit was without merit. That lawsuit has since been dismissed.
Doesn’t Hemrick know that all inter-party disputes are settled by televised lie-detector tests followed by arm wrestling?

sip…hic
County by county: here. At this point, the Republican that was not supposed to win is ahead, and the Republican that seemed to have a decent chance is behind, with bother(sic) races breaking 55/45%.
hic…slurp…hic
UPDATE, 9:32 Central Time: The Democrat who was supposed to win has now been declared the winner.
hic…hic…gulp…hic
UPDATE 2: And… both Democratic incumbents win. Fine with me. I did not like the “fleebagging,” but I don’t like recalls either. Let’s have regular elections and take them seriously, then accept that elections have consequences. This all politics, all the time crap is ridiculous. Okay? Everybody settle down. If you must be political, aim at November 2012.

holymoe commented on the blog post Tammy Bruce Very Excited To Be Sarah Palin’s Twitter-Twat BFF
The irony is that if Bruce had any self-respect she would just wait it out, knowing that sooner or later Palin and the rest of the GOP will come to her. She will eventually be the next Michael Steele: a laughable figurehead ostensibly representing the diversity of the Republican Party. Bruce will be a homerun: a woman and gay. It’s just a matter of time until the Republicans claim credit for the repeal of DADT, and endorse gay marriage. When that happens, the party will give Bruce the respect she knows she deserves. If she’s not in an assisted-care facility.
