Am packed with a jacket and layers before heading to San Diego Friday! Very excited. Also some slippers (Hawaiian for “flip-flops) because Xmas in San Diego is always a guessing game of sorts–sometimes a jacket and scarf on the beach, sometimes a bathing suit. It’s my wintertime fix w/o snow.
Sadly, the kids are moving from Birdrock to, um, some town further north, so, despite being a lurker here, I care, and now know I will never run into the TBoggs while traveling to-and-fro along the Birdrock/Pacific Beach routes.
(and ::sob:: no longer anywhere near Mitt’s mansion/worse mansion-to-be, when before, it was 3 blocks away.)

Heh, I doubt she thinks she looks better, just more helmet, bleached(badly)-blond-haired as her man’s second-in-arms, ready for the in-coming! Seriously, she even looks pretty natural on her Wikipedia pic.
I don’t know–”Calista” means “most beautiful” in Greek, but her beauty and Newt’s poll results seem to be heading in the wrong direction.
I’d defend her from she’s-all-ugly criticism is she let herself be! She might actually look, if not be, nice.

Still somewhat (well, more than that) proud of myself for a few years ago getting away with telling my all-girl high school students about my “blow job theory” of media and political history. And I mean that literally.
