    I’ve been a bit busy lately but want you to know I would love to have a Midwest get-together sometime this summer.

    I will work on it with AC2 as well as all my FDL Midwest friends.(Is PA considered Midwest? :)

    Basements are the reason I feel safer in Iowa than those poor folks above ground.(My hometown of Comfrey Minnesota was wiped off the map but NO fatalities because of adequate warnings to take shelter)

    He’s my eldest and is my stepson who I have helped raise since age 3.I will be 68 when my Peanut graduates and 65 when my 6th Grader graduates.(Better late then never)

    Benghazi… I know where it is

    British Embassy flew me to Benghazi to play “Last Post and Revelry” at the immaculate cemetery where the British soldiers are buried. (They held out against Rommel.) It was an honor to do so.

    Mom’s permanent pacemaker safely installed yesterday and may come home today, son graduating on Sunday, weather is great, FDL back up.

    Good morning all my fellow Over Easy firepup friends.

    93 degrees here yesterday, frost on Sunday. We went straight from winter to summer without bothering to have a spring. (Farmer friends are planting like mad.) :)

    So I’ll be taking 200 mile round trips in addition to getting ready for graduation next week. It’s a good thing I ‘m in decent shape. /s
