OK, that makes both Walsh and Hultgren who won their respective general election contests because their Democratic opponents were wimpy, Blue Dog corporatists who thought that acting like Republicans would get them re-elected in their Republican leaning districts.

Walsh is another gift from the Obama/Emanuel/DNC with their Blue dog center-right candidates like Melissa Bean. At least Walsh has a primary fight in 2012 with being redistricted into Rep. Hultgren’s IL 14.

jimjr commented on the blog post Wal-Mart Hikes Toy Prices Just as Congress Gives the Waltons Huge Tax Breaks
I hear that, there’s some southern IL towns where everything else closed up. In Chicago, there’s NIMBy’s marching against Walmart on the elite north side, while they let the first Walmart(s) in on the more minority population south side, after many years of refusing to let them in anywhere. Daley sold out the parking meters, and now the Walmart. Appropriate that Rahm is now primed to take over.

two against the president’s compromise. Followed by Sen Dick Durbin (D-IL) who will vote for it.
I hope somebody asks him how he could vote against the Schumer bill ostensibly because he wouldn’t support extending cuts above $250000, and now he supports the “compromise”.
This should be Durbin’s last term also.
