  • If organizations are allowed to avoid issuing drugs based on them or the actions that led to them being required being “immoral”, where does it end? If someone develops AIDS will the organization be allowed to say they won’t pay for drug therapy, because they consider IV drug use/gay sex to be “immoral” actions that resulted in the disease? Some religions consider alcohol use to be immoral – so if someone develops liver failure from alcoholism, can they say they won’t cover the drugs/organ transplant necessary?
