Four days of rain in the forecast so perhaps this season will bee salvaged.

I am curious about a question asked earlier. Does your honey have a particular flavour? Buckwheat? clover? Is it light or dark?

Tybee has gentrified some but still feels like that place apart I always remember. I was there a few weeks ago.

The Spam filter ate my homework? However, given the government incompetence with regard to computer security, they have certainly established a precedent for the believability of this claim.

“Every single American citizen is accountable for what was done” — a point I made time and again to my electeds including then Senator Clinton. And now with a Democratic President, congressional accountability is even more remote.

Kavin, Do you have any sense of how quickly this case is likely to proceed?

I just received it. Do we have saboteurs at work or is this because the techies are still fine-tuning?

    Hi Teddy,

Late to the party but since voting transparency is my calling. I wanted to share this:

A lot of the so-called “progressive” issues – green and renewable energy, a living wage, consumer protections, a commitment to good affordable education, universal healthcare – would and do have widespread support but suffer by being constrained by the labeling of issues by two parties to their mutual advantage. Tell me how this changes within this existing political paradigm? We need a new system.

I heard this as yet another scare piece. By citing investors like unions and pension funds the message was, “Don’t rock the boat or your savings and retirement funds will suffer.”

“And why would some of the larger media outlets not sue for the illegal arrest of their reporters?”

I concede that this was a naive question and DN is hardly comparable to the ethics-free zone which is the corporate media at large.

So far it appears that no local officials have paid a price for these extreme crack-downs. Even if exonerated in court an arrestee is still bearing the brunt of the suffering, with no recompense. I wonder what would be the downside of going on the offensive for damages. And why would some of the larger media outlets not sue for the illegal arrest of their reporters? Democracy Now sued over the incident in Minneapolis.

Kevin do you know if there have been any lawsuits filed over the brutal assaults by police or illegal arrests in NYC or at any of the Occupy sites?
