Twelve years on and this bullshit that Nader caused Gore to lose is still wrong. Besides the fact that the Supreme Court stopped the vote counting in Florida, Gore could not even win his home state. Gore was truly uninspiring.
It is a shame there is not a candidate with the integrity and stature of Nader running this cycle. Until there is I will continue to give him my write-in vote.

Perhaps we should have bake sales all across the nation to raise enough funds for the SEC to do its job. Maybe Obermanann or Cenk could run a daily tally of the funds raised. Better yet, Jon Stewart. The Executive branch has some discretion in moving funds around if they wanted to really investigate and prosecute their owners.

I fail to see how this is a response to my comment. The last time the Democrats allowed the “Brady Bunch” to free rein with their gun control agenda they lost control of the House for the first time in 40 years.
I consider myself to be very progressive on most issues and find Obama far too conservative for our nation at this time. However, I see the 2nd Amendment just as important as the 1st Amendment and vote accordingly.
