Plain and simple, the State knows how to handle violence. This is the thing the black bloc kids just don’t get. If there’s one thing American Police and Military know how to deal with, it’s violence. That’s what they train for. They have helmets, stun guns, real guns, pepper spray, helicopters, armor, etc… and Occupy? [...]

There is simply no way to fix this broken system. It’s way past time to build a new one, in parallel to the existing one, and gradually migrate ourselves off the bankster credit hook.

I’m an #Occupier in NYC. I’ve kept this blog since the middle this past November. Please come have a look at what’s coming this spring; join the revolt without dropping the remote.

Guys… it’s time to go beyond the park.

If you’re one of the 48% who support #Occupy’s goals but have no love for the taste of pepper spray, phase 2 is for you. Currently wending it’s way through discussions in various shadowy corners of the NYC #Occupation, Phase 2 let’s you join the rebellion with dropping the remote.

I could use a pair or two of those here in NYC! While Iowa definitely has priority, please don’t forget us NYC #OWS Occupiers! I wear a size 11.

You can find me here, or just send ‘em to #OWS SIS.

Thanks! And thanks for all the sleeping bags, and tents, and tarps and food and everything else you wonderful people sent us this year! You are the pillars that hold up the Occupation! Whether you are with us in the streets, or just in spirit, YOU are Occupy!

Happy New Year! It’s gonna be OUR year!

I have no idea who these 10 people are. There was nothing at General Assembly about choosing a delegation, therefor, they represent no one but themselves.

Sometimes, I have found GA to be the most frustrating procedure in the world, especially now that the temperature in NYC has dropped, standing around in Zuccotti park for 4 hours to wiggle my fingers ain’t half the fun it was a month ago. It has it’s uses though; it kind of acts as a firewall against cooptation — if you want to coopt us, you’ll have to stand around int he cold all night and wiggle your fingers, too!

We have been in a war economy without interruption since pearl harbor in 1941. We have gone from a country that spent about 7% of it’s budget on the military and wielded considerable clout around the world with a naval fleet thaqt was only the 27th largest in the world to a nation that is [...]

I’ve been staying in United Methodist Church in Park Slope, Brooklyn the past few days, and I want to thank them for their kindness and generosity to us. They and all the other churches who opened their doors to the #Occupiers are real heros! They’ve kept us alive and warm for weeks now, and I really want to say thanks!

Well, #Occupy IS a growth industry these days. We probably have brand recognition to rival Apple these days.

Gotta expect the politicians would try to cash in on it. word is out how much we got in donations, and where there’s money, there’s politicians.
