Geez, TB, this is unbelievable. I know a bunch of people that volunteered for SBK events in the past, but I’ll be encouraging them not to in the future.
And your last post hit home too….I worked for private industry for 25 years, and Marketing would just shoot themselves if management pulled this kind of crap.

Excellent suggestion. There are still quite a few cows on campus, about three blocks from the quad. It would be awesome if each cow were led around the quad by a protesting student. But let’s not get into the whole Occupy Cows thing….
Incidentally, my police radio tells me there’s a bunch more stuff happening right now on campus, and both the Chancellor and Police Chief are involved in the negotiations.

I work at UC Davis. I know Lt. Pike. He and the administration just negated all the good things that go on here. I’ve seen a lot of stupid actions and decisions in my years on earth, but this one ranks very near the top.

Back when I was at Berkeley in the ’60′s, we used to stay up all night to discuss crap like the BBC documentaries. Man, did we ever waste our time, and we didn’t even know that Paula Abdul would exist one day. Oh, well.
Now I really know what is important.
