Does anyone know the odds on Barney Frank or any other member of the Banking Committee going to jail??? Just wondering? Apparently you can allow Millions and Millions of dollars to be stolen, get your kickbacks, payoff, etc and nothing will be done. By God forbid you forget to pay a speeding ticket. The cops will be at your door with a swat team. Barney Frank was nothing more than a revolving door for Freddie and Fannie and the Wall Street Banksters to steal us blind. Can you think of 1 thing he did to help working people? We know most Repubs protect Wall Street and now you can throw most Dems in that catagory also. I am 53 and I trying to remember the last time I was really proud of an elected official in Wash doing something that really stood out and made me say,”Thats why I voted for that person!!… Geez I honestly am having a hard time coming up with anything, and that is truly sad…….”And the beat goes on”

Just a closing thought, has anyone else noticed that we all have been played for fools?? I am 53 recently retired and all my life we were told ‘ Americans are the hardest workers, they work hard and they play hard. Just looking back I can remember as the work week went all, we were always told “the weekend is almost here” Wed was called hump day, and on Thursday, you were already thinking about Friday. On Friday it was announced everywhere,”TGIF!!. So we were told party hard, and enjoy your weekend, but with the understanding “have your ass back to work on Monday”. I guess what I am saying is we were all “programmed” early on, to the slave like mentatlity, of work hard, get in debt up to our necks, and then hope near the end for a few years to enjoy it. Of course we all know that has “jumped the shark” long ago………

Newbaygal….. I really think you have covered the bases with OBAMBI. What we have basically is a 3rd Bush term and I think OBAMBI was nothing more than a “Trojan Horse”. If you just think about it, by electing him he has brought along a segement of the voting public to the party that the Repubs, never could have. Its amazing to me how so many who were outraged at the Foreign Policy, Economic Policy, and Domestic Policy of Bush, have someone lost that outrage now that OBAMBI is President, yet the policies are almost identical.People are so dumbed down by the Demvs Repub stuff, they fail to realize, that a “true 2 party system” has been DOA, for a while. What we have is nothing more than a bigger stage “WWF wrestling show”, where the players take turns being “villian or good guy”. OK… Let’s see… We have been in Iraq for over 10 years, never should have been there to start with. We spend billions, thousands killed or wounded, nothing accompished. Now we have escelated the war in Afhghanistan, no clear mission, thousands more killed or wounded, billions more, where have we seen this movie before? Oh thats right, Vietnam, Iraq, and more invasion coming to a TV set near you……

I went out 4 years ago as many of you did, hoping , praying, it would be different”this time”… 4 years later, we all can see the “Emperor indeed, has no Clothes”. And as many have said here before as long as we keep this cycle of political parties 1 and 1A, the Wars, Wall Street greed, FISA, and all the rest of the nonsense will continue……
