Divided government has made no one happy and accomplished basically nothing, yet more people still prefer it to single party rule. It is time people start rethink its value.
We’ve had single party rule for 40 years.

Warren is just the latest carrot the Beltway cabal is dangling in front of the sheep to give them more phony hope & change. There’s always a carrot. It was Obama in 2008, who sounded just like Warren does today.
And forget about wages going up. The Wall Street cheap labor lobby’s got that one covered. Another amnesty/mass immigration tsunami of 3rd world labor will take care of that.

Coming up: more civilian “collateral damage” from Obamadrones:
“The Pentagon has loosened its guidelines on avoiding civilian casualties during drone strikes, modifying instructions from requiring military personnel to “ensure” civilians are not targeted to encouraging service members to “avoid targeting” civilians.”

…disinterest in pursuing investigation into the torture story further has a political agenda at its root, i.e., protecting the Democratic Party’s image as an alternative to the GOP on matters of national security…
The bad news here is there’s millions of Democratic voters who will swallow this. The right has no monopoly on low info voters.
The rich Democrats don’t have to worry about this either: Obamacare Plans exclude top hospitals.
“Americans who are buying insurance plans over online exchanges, under what is known as Obamacare, will have limited access to some of the nation’s leading hospitals, including two world-renowned cancer centres”
It’s like the Titanic – everybody’s gotta buy a ticket but only the rich get lifeboats.
people who get their investments from fortune cookies, people who think they can beat HFT traders from their home computers, and plenty of other marks, gulls, fools, clowns, ideologues, trend traders, market timers, trend analysts, systems players and true believers
Well sure. The sheeple are born to be shorn. It has always been thus. And what markets don’t screw them out of politicians will.

Obama, the ruling elite, and their MSM mouthpieces will sing Mandela’s praises so as to try and fool people into thinking they’re also people of great moral principle. They aren’t.
Meanwhile, Japan passes “Secrecy Bill” (aka good bye right to know):
Money quote (courtesy of Deputy Prime Minister Aso Taro):
“Germany’s Weimar Constitution was changed into the Nazi Constitution before anyone knew. It was changed before anyone else noticed. Why don’t we learn from that method?”
High deductible plans and out-of-pocket limits don’t offer true protection for those who get really sick
Per “Bronze” plan deductibles, there’s no protection those who don’t get really sick. Even a minor health problem will confront working families with crushing OOP costs. A lot will just have to forego treatment. Just like they’re doing now. Thanks, Democrats.
No chance for $15/hour. These jobs are already slated for outsourcing to machines. Meet your new waiter:
This stuff was gonna happen even at $7.25/hour. BTW, am I the only one on the left who sees the disconnect between support for mass immigration/amnesty and the desire for higher pay?
kafka commented on the blog post Reluctant Acceptance, Not Popularity, May Be Obamacare’s Best Hope
ACA will be this magical scapegoat upon which every ill in the system is heaped
Correct. ACA means Democrats own the US healthcare system, with all its bloated costs and inequities. It’s the price they pay for not doing real reform.
A Boulder, Colorado couple in their mid 50′s making $61,730 a year would get $4,710 in subsidies to help them afford coverage on the exchange since they make just below 400% of FPL
So they get $4,710 in subsidies to help them “afford” coverage but then have to come up with $6,000 for the deductibles (assuming they get a “bronze” plan. I don’t have words for this nonsense.
Yeah, it’s funny in a sick way. Millions of working families who couldn’t afford insurance now won’t be able to afford the deductibles. But hey, the insurance corps get millions of new premium paying customers so who cares?
kafka commented on the blog post Third Way Returns To Attack Elizabeth Warren And Bill de Blasio
They found their man in Bill Clinton who had no core principles just great instincts for triangulating popular positions and hearing a rhythm in polls
Just wait till Hillary gets the WH. She’ll make Bill look like FDR. And the pathetic thing is she’ll get there with the help of most progressive voters.

Why did the NSdAp need a memo? Don’t they have enough dirt on their employee families & friends to turn them into sock puppets?
No chance for $15/hour. The Kock Brothers/Wall Street crowd will just twist the arms of their Beltway whores even harder to

pass immigration “reform”.
“In a desperate attempt to get what the administration considers to be the most important elements just barely working in time, huge sections of the law have been delayed
for at least a yearuntil after the 2014 elections.”

Well OK then, is there any real difference between a GOPer like Christie and a “Democrat” like
Too late, election’s over. Besides, is there any real difference between a GOPer like Christie and a “Democrat” like McAuliffe?
