Pretty sad. Go to serve the people and wind up losing your soul.

    AIPAC got to her.
I read an article last week ( can’t find it now) where 5 senators approved part of the extortion $$$ for the Iron dome…about 200 million, before rushing off to their vacations
How the heck is that legal?

And now, apparently, the American poor will be squeezed for the rest of it. I doubt many cheerleaders realized the cost for this “Israel has a right to defend itself” was going to come out of their pockets.
I heard the same prop line from both right and left

The lack of estrus may be related to the simple situation of endless mating…in both species. There are remnants of estrus in the fertile times of the month for females.

Most tribes of mammals isolate the young males because they cause so much trouble. Lions surely do this. I don’t know if apes do it but I suspect they do. Once the males are sufficiently able to be social, they may or may not be allowed back into the pride/tribe.
Lion prides are ruled by the lionesses and they decide who the male will be to have their cubs with.
With most of the big cats of Africa, the female walks alone as the male is so dangerous to her and her offspring. Same thing with polar bears.
It’s nearly universal in mammals that the male is avoided as being the most dangerous to the young.
If humans weren’t so smart, we would have died out long ago

I’ve often thought humans have become like a baboon society. Ever since the Indo-European invasions of the Fertile Crescent a few millennia ago, I suspected that, through our endless wars of primacy for a few alpha males, that we killed off the less aggressive males and have been left with, basically…nutjobs for men.
Sure let me state the ol’ saw that not all men are like this, but the ones who attain power sure are and they are the ones who “count”.
If one reads deeply into his-story, it’s pretty much nothing but wars. If one reads deeply into archeology, one finds the inverted mythology of nearly all the world religions used to control us through fear.

Now, of course, we have fear as a constant from the last 15 years of the war on terror and our society has devolved into a digital one where people can only seem to relate to each other thru something like Facebook.
Meanwhile, the alphas have taken over and in their fear of anything can’t control seek to destroy it…including the Earth Herself.

Interesting that those alpha baboon got all the tainted meat because they wouldn’t allow the lower ranking members to share the treat.

    It’s nearly prophetic

Well: Britain facing ‘greatest terrorist threat’ in history
    Worse than the IRA, huh?
This will provide good cover for them privatizing their NHS.

No wonder we will shortly be seeing the end of internet freedom if people insist on posting the truth with evidence/s

California passes ‘yes-means-yes’ campus sexual assault bill

Governor Jerry Brown must sign the bill into law by the end of September. If he does, it would mark the first time a U.S. state requires such language to be a central tenet of school sexual assault policies, said Claire Conlon, a spokeswoman for State Senator Kevin De Leon, who championed the legislation.

Opponents of the bill say it is politically over-reaching and could push universities into little charted legal waters.

yeh…little charted legal waters of giving women some rights…horrors!

I still wonder what they’re up to with the gay marriage stuff. It couldn’t ALL be economic.
When they start talking about bigotry toward women, I’ll sit up and listen closely as that’s why gay men have been hated for so long….they are considered “womanized men”

Men (and certainly politicians) ought to have nothing to say about this topic unless they are in a relationship with a woman who wants to have a baby. Then they can have some input. Too often the women has to, eventually raise the child on her own anyway. With our overpopulation any woman who does [...]

  • Amazing to me that the US would just cross another country’s airspace without a care and start bombing.
There goes the “national debt” again.

Oh a little lagniappe for AIPAC (the NRA has nothing on them)
    Friends of Israel
So 5 (five) senators passed this 200+ million giveaway

What I thought too. I wonder how many of them have seen items go up by 1/3 at the store from one month to the next; or the declining quality of what you CAN buy? Is that not inflation?

Can they encode morality or ethics into these things? I know, a rhetorical question since the owners have none themselves. Still can’t figure the human mindset [...]
