I would like to do a test:

Split a large number of people into 2 equal groups. Libertarians and normal people.

Enforce a policy of allowing only libertarians to eat foods self-inspected by the companies. Surely there’d be no need for policing these people, since they’re so sure of the safety of their ideology. But, still, police them.

The other group will only be allowed to eat foods that were inspected by government agencies that are free from influence, funding, and staffing by food corporate personnel and ex-personnel. I don’t think this group will need to be policed.

But, still, police them to make sure no libertarians try to sneak self-inspected foods into the other group’s supplies.

In a few short years I should finally have an answer to the dilemma – how to get rid of libertarians.

Ed Schultz doesn’t present himself as a non-partisan, independent journalist/analyst. He’s a liberal, progressive talk show host with a purpose that he openly reveals to listeners on every show and event on which he appears.

(If you’re seeing backslashes in my text, blame it on my new Linux OS. I’m a bit disappointed in this thing!)

According to Snopes and quite a few other sites, that Lincoln quote is bogus, yet often cited. I had to check because I wanted to cite it, as well, to people in the Republican and Ron Paul cults. Putting important truths in bogus quotes only helps an enemy “disprove” the truths. Please double-check these things before using them. If I am wrong about this, please let us know!

Spoiled brats thinking they’re special? It’d be easy, and right-wingy, to assume that this means they want too much from the government. I think it’s the opposite – they want a decent amount of security, but don’t want to pay for it. Living in a society requires paying to keep it healthy; to lift one [...]

Nature requires that for every action, there’s an equal and opposite reaction. This shouldn’t mean physical violence, since that’s not what they’re committing against us. It would have to be some sort of absolute force, though. And people had better figure out what to do soon, lest that mandatory reaction DOES become violent.

I think they just want to privatize those things. We lose social “securities” and they’ll move in to provide them in the private sector, where they can skim off loads of profits.
