Occupy Jacksonville is camped in front of City Hall. We are not allowed to sleep, so we take shifts. We’ve been Occupying since Nov. 5th. We are currently working on Community Gardening within the city limits, and we just formed a foreclosure group. We’ve had a number of successful protests, we’ve influenced our local city council on delaying bad business bills, and we recently had Ms. Charney, a foreclosure attorney speak to us about the terrible state of foreclosures within our city.
