I’m really suspicious of this “queer veterans group” or groups which came out of the woodwork to protest Manning at SF Pride, getting them to do their about face. It reeks of astro turf.
When I’ve posted about Manning & SF Pride on my Facebook page, I’ve twice had people show up out of nowhere to decry Manning as a “war criminal.” One was a former or current Obama For America employee, and the other two suspiciously had no connection to my friends network but both claimed to be anti-Manning queer veterans. Very odd.
