  • Now that’s more like it! Much obliged.

Still, there’s no need for the conditional. We’ve known, thanks to Scott Horton, since Feb ’09, that

The Pentagon’s Public Affairs Office has been one of the last redoubts of the Neoconservatives. Burrowed Bush era figures remain in key positions in the office, which had responsibility for implementation of some of the Rumsfeld Pentagon’s most controversial strategies in which the American public was targeted with practices previously associated with battlefield psy-ops. http://harpers.org/archive/2009/02/hbc-90004359

Translation: We, my dear compatriots, have been under attack by our own forces, with weapons-grade weapons, for years now. That means, our hallowed “public opinion” is not our own, it’s fake consent manufactured by PSYOP.

Of course, we all remember how our hero, Obama, repudiated and investigated these outrageous attacks against our entire body politic. HA!

No, he’s still attacking us. And attacking Congress. Isn’t that special? Our CinC’s generals are attacking us, the very People whom they’re sworn to defend, whether he knows it or not. Hell, according to Ray McGovern, even Obama may be a target of “shock & awe” PSYOP. Let that sink in.

[A radio show host] asked what I would tell President-elect Barack Obama if I were Mike Morell, the chief CIA analyst assigned to brief Obama daily.

What fun, I thought. On more sober reflection, it seemed more useful to prepare questions of the kind President-elect Obama might wish to ask Morell, since the briefings are supposed to be a two-way street.

Obama is no shrinking violet. Just the same, it may be useful to warn him not to succumb to the particular brand of “shock and awe” that can be induced by ostensibly sexy intelligence to color reactions of briefees, including presidents. I have seen it happen. http://consortiumblog.blogspot.com/2008/11/president-elects-queries-for-briefers.html

So, who’s neat little PSYOP trick is that? Who’s running this show? Don’t governments that attack their own people forfeit Heaven’s Mandate?

We’re under attack, too, just like the ones we’re oh so concerned about – when they’re distant enough not to implicate our selves or leaders in crimes against humanity.

Our leaders are the monsters they’re warning us about. And so are we, to the exact extent we don’t resist, protest, and stop them. Today!

I bow in all y’all’s vrrtl drrcxxns.

Well phrased. A psychology professor (I presume?), how do you feel about the weaponization of our fair, scientific, art of healing with words, into PSYOP? What if we look at NYT in terms a bit more exalted than seventh-grade innuendo, ie as psychological operations, instead of “subservience,” “handjobs,” etc?

Y’all are aware that the US Army, under CinC Barack Obama, has been attacking We, the People, in Congress assembled, right? It’d be news if the armed forces of any other freakin’ country in the world attacked their Congress, the body politic of the People (that’d be us).

Report: U.S. Army Ordered Psy-Ops to Sway Lawmakers on Backing Afghan War

The U.S. military is facing allegations of illegally ordering a “psychological operations” campaign to convince Senate members to increase support for the war in Afghanistan. According to Rolling Stone magazine, members of a military unit in Afghanistan were instructed to use psychological tactics deployed in warfare to manipulate visiting senators and other dignitaries. The order came from Lt. Gen. William Caldwell, who oversees the U.S. Army’s training of Afghan troops. Among those selected for targeting include John McCain, Joe Lieberman, Jack Reed, Al Franken and Carl Levin, Admiral Mike Mullen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and a number of other lawmakers, foreign officials and think-tank analysts. The unit’s leader, Lt. Colonel Michael Holmes, says he was ordered to formulate “pressure points we could use to leverage the [visiting] delegation for more funds.” Holmes also says he was asked to consider: “How do we get these guys to give us more people? What do I have to plant inside their heads?” Holmes says he was targeted for retribution after resisting Caldwell’s demands, believing he was being asked to violate U.S. law.

Oh, but that was “only” PSYOP, so it doesn’t really count as the Army attacking Congress, right? You’ll have to ask Bradley Manning about the “reality” of PSYOP.

A “handjob”?! State and NYT again collude in PSYOP attacking US, with weaponized lies of mythic (as opposed to scientific, economic, or polisci-fi) proportions, and instead of calling it that, you go with handjob? WTF?

What’s with the penis obsession? What’s with reducing the titanic roles of State and NYT to a seventh-grader’s innuendo-laden metaphor?

We beggar our urgent effort by reducing events of mythic importance, of dramaturgical potential (similar to metallurgical: the power of this shared narrative we’re here creating together, to materialise our intentions), to freakin’ handjobs, cojonometrics of all sort, when the proper level of analysis is mythic.

Here’s a concrete example from recent days. Compare two speeches: Asmaa Mahfouz’s proto-revolutionary video vs Secretary Clinton’s Internet Freedom event. AM is passionate, speaking from the heart, in human and mythic-level terms; on Obama’s orders, Sec. Clinton drones on while the killings escalate. Exactly as Saif Gadhafi did, Hillary Clinton drones on while the killings escalated.

How many people did we kill just during HRC’s abominable efforts to give diplomatic cover to human sacrifice?

Afghans say joint NATO forces kill 64 civilians
    http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/02/20/us-afghanistan-civilians-idUSTRE71J0JV20110220

“President (Hamid) Karzai strongly condemned the air strikes by foreign troops,” the statement said.

Civilian casualties in NATO-led military operations, often caused by air strikes and night raids, have long been a source of friction between the Afghan government and its Western backers.

Rules governing air strikes and night raids have been tightened significantly by NATO-led forces in the past two years, leading to a drop in civilian casualties.

Mistakes still occur, although U.N. and other figures show that insurgents cause at least three-quarters of the civilian casualties in Afghanistan.

The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said in a statement a team would investigate the allegations of civilian casualties during the operations in Kunar, which it said were carried out in a remote and rugged area.

It said ISAF reporting and weapons system video showed 36 armed insurgents were killed.

“We take allegations of civilian casualties very seriously. We are conducting an immediate assessment of these allegations and will report our findings,” U.S. Army Colonel Patrick Hynes, a senior ISAF spokesman said in the statement.

Governor Wahidi said of the 64 dead, 20 were women, 29 were children or young adults, and the other 15 were adult men.

Taking your cue, did Sec. Clinton gives us all a “handjob” in that speech? Even saying she “paid our rights lip service” has a nasty ring to it. Can we bring our game up a level or two?

Mistakes will occur….” Translation: human sacrifice is built into our way of being in the world itself. Human sacrifice – not the noble self-sacrifice kind, sacrifice of the other kind – is what we do. Human flesh and blood are the main ingredients of the Shock Doctrine recipe. Not handjobs.

It was a PSYOP. We, the People, in Congress assembled, have been attacked by weapons-grade PR (by Lt. Gen. Caldwell, US Army), NYT has been psyopping us for NO1 knows how long, and you reduce it to a freakin’ handjob. We’re under PSYOP attack right freakin’ now.

“We’re all [attacked nation] now,” has a whole new ring to it. Hear it?

But that’s not “news” because PSYOP weapons aren’t considered “real” weapons. Oh aren’t they? You’ll have to ask Bradley Manning about that.

Is it any wonder we’re so far gone?

US Army Lt. Gen. Caldwell has been attacking US Senators (and others) with weapons-grade psychological operations (PSYOP). Let that sink in.

IOW, dear siblings, the US Army has been attacking the US Congress, our proxies, for some time now. WE are under attack, by our own forces!

Now, here’s the trillion dollar question.

If, as is so loudly proclaimed of Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, Libya, and Iran: rulers who attack their own people forfeit the Mandate of Heaven; and if weapons-grade PSYOP weapons are real weapons (is Bradley Manning’s torture real torture?); and if US Army Lt. Gen. Caldwell really has been attacking sitting US Senators with them; then has OUR ruler forfeited OUR Mandate of Heaven?

Even as our attention is being riveted to the Middle East, our Army is attacking us by attacking our Congress. Meanwhile, Sec. Clinton drones on about freedom and the unacceptability of the violent bloodhsed of others.

Why should we believe they would hesitate to attack us ordinary citizens with lead and steel weapons, too?

That flapping sound you here is the sound of chickens of mythic proportions coming home right now to roost in the biggest chicken coop in the world: the White House.

    Hope I haven’t over-leavened your endearing optimism, Sister. :}
