    Thanks so much everyone for your kind words and encouragement. I’d return that encouragement by encouraging you to join others in Washington DC to continue protesting this pipeline. We’ve still got another week of demonstrations to go, and we need you more than ever!

    That’s a good point, and a mistake on my part to not make the distinction. That said, from behind bars I could’ve called it jail, prison, lock-up, penitentiary, etc. Each word served well the kind of concepts and changes I was confronting throughout the experience.

    I’d agree, BP, but seeing as how every day since last Saturday arrestees have been receiving the option to “post and forfeit” and not serve any jail time, dresses can still work for the demonstrations.
