I wish we could help and take a little heat from you guys. I live near Seattle. This summer’s forecast was for heatwaves starting in late June. A high of 61 isn’t a heatwave in any season.

Referendum 71, the attempt to overturn the everything but marriage law, got on the ballot with less than a 3,000 signature cushion. Last I heard NOM had collected about 100,000 signatures. I have no doubt it will get on the ballot, but I’d be a little surprised if there were 200,000 signatures.

The waiting period is so people who want to overturn it can gather their signatures. The due date is June 6th, 90 days from the end of the session.
