Judges say, that’s ok, they roll big joints, too!
Patti-Lady Marmalade, forever.
The Bob-Ballad Of A Thin Man remains one of my stoner daze favs. Cuz there’s something happening here, that you just don’t understand, do you, Mr, Jones.
Worthy.

Laura Nyro was a force, her loss long ago hurts to this day.
Great catch, thanks.

As a Peninsulan from ’64 to ’84, and a growing journo thru them times, I watched it all come down corporate wise, as much as I loved the music revolution of my SF Bay Area during those times.
The Examiner/Chron is a . . . it’s crap.
SF Gate is tolerable, barely.
The likes of ownership and staff we folks grew up with ’64 forward in print, radio, tv mediums is long gone and dead due to corporate fascism, deregulation and pure and wretched wealth inequality.
I guess, I’m proud to recall when it was all about we the people.
But it’s been goned for a long, long time. Reagan, that fuck. CA and then the rest of the nation. N Clinton aided and abetted.
But it didn’t matter by Clinton, the damage was done.

Answer: There are no crabs, no shrimps, n there’s no more boils. It’s all been oiled up n goned.
You know this.

Hell of a read hoss . . . as an old journo myself, I lament the death of the print medium but as you signify, it’s dead, dying and over.
The Times/Picayune is indeed a huge loss, a legend of the prints.
It’s all well chronicled, region to region, the death of it all.
Even the wire services died, Knight-RIdder, AP Newswire, UPI.
All bought up by corporate giants, offices shut down, staffs slashed.
I watched it all come down thru the 60′s and forward as deregulation from Reagan was implemented, ownership regulation was dissolved, corporations took over and we ended up with 67 channels and nothing on . . . n print died, period.
And it all happened LONG before the digital age, so I don’t wanna hear any pup jiving that stuff . . . control of the mainstream media is without a doubt the same tactic here in USA as Hitler n Goebbels implemented control in their time.
Nothing we can do about our media, our political system, our failing social systems.
However, as we boomers age and die, and watch it all crumble to shit, we know that it’s unsustainable, n mama nature, or empire failure or global war will assure us that as history has proven, it IS unsustainable and it WILL collapse and fail.
You don’t care for the needs of the masses, you fail. End of story.

Gonna have fun in the city, be with my girl she’s so pretty.
Even my old man loooks, gooooddd . . .
Great mid 60′s angst protest teen rage.
I had thought that Todd Rungren or someone like that led that band, interesting to read their wiki and find out it’s not the case, some 50 years later! lol
Great tune, great band, nice catch Sistah Suz, hope all is well.
Gotta g’thud, wishin ya well.
I see a phone call in my near future . . . ;-)

Not recommended.
I consider soiling the white space of FDL/MyFDL with the dirty underwear laundry of another blog to be in bad form.
I trust the moderators here will agree with me.
Harumph.

I call bullshit on that.
Bachus woulda had the Wellpoint VP write it, and HRC would have endorsed it all to hayall.
No single payer, no public option would have emerged under HRC.
She plays for the 1% Knox, you know that and should be ashamed at mouthing such banal platitudes about her.

Larue-Clique Member Since LibbyGate commented on the blog post Dems Start Negotiating Against Themselves on Bush Tax Cuts
Yeah well ok, yer spot on.
But hey, at least Mr. Walker opened up his social side a tad, no?
*G*

Absolutely, it’s been proven time and time again who she serves and it’s not we the people.
This is simple proggy stuff, and anyone who don’t see it is just not proggy . . .
Thanks for sayin it, Janeane . . . for a progressive site, there are way too many DIM apologists supporting the powers that be and the 1% that comment here.
It’s appalling.

I wish he had Hillary’s backbone.
Yer kiddin me, right?
Her backbone is as worn out from the mattress of her 1% overlords as every other erected and elected and annointed politician.
This is DIM Centrism at it’s utter and absolute worst 1% best.
You WERE kidding, right?

Larue-Clique Member Since LibbyGate commented on the blog post Dems Start Negotiating Against Themselves on Bush Tax Cuts
Yeah, we all pretty much have knowed this for a decade or so.
Bless her lil heart, tho.

Nicely phrased, start to finish.
I too, faintly praise with great verve and gusto Mr. Walkers condemnation of Pelosi’s (and the DIMS) early capitulation to benefit only those who contribute significantly to DIM Re Erection Efforts.
Cuz that’s who this crap is targeted at, donors.
Make the wealthy wealthier whilst degrading the rest of our society, roads, schools, civil services/roads/schools and more . . .
N all the while, continue to destroy the middle class and erode and eliminate any and all means of their support and existence.
Mr. Walker, I greatly appreciate you taking this one on, hope you will follow it and expose the horrid jive bs Pelosi, Obama and DIMS bring to the table in this uniparty fascist corporate empire we live in.
Is this perhaps, Mr. Walker, yer socialist coming out writ?
*G*
Gimme more DFH Socialism n jobs hoss, and I’ll renew!!!

Yeah, what he said . . . Nice clean and simple recipe and process, good one! Cedar imparts a flavor like no other wood or charcoal. I’d suggest using as plain a charcoal as possible, not mesquite, so as to keep a clean cedar flavor as much as possible. Looks like it’s salmon for dinner [...]

*afterthought*
I like to add chicken stock to my beschemel and add a pinch of nutmeg to it, as well . . . depending on the application, of course.
Gruyere is killer for chicken pot pies, too. Also, ya betcha . . .
Best to both . . . *clinky*

I’m more used to using puff pastry or pie dough for the top but I LOVE the biscuit method!
Nice!
Some petie pois and pearl onions would round this up for me, nice recipe and topping, thanks for sharing!
