I am one of those who worked tirelessly for Obama in 2008, but am sitting this one out. I will not lift a finger to help, nor will I contribute, or even vote for him. I am in New York, so he does not need my vote.
The only reason I wish for him to win is that I loathe the GOP, and as a gay American I am concerned about the next choices for the Supreme Court. Because of that, I will vote Democrat in some races and sit others out. This will be the first time I write-in for president, or vote 3rd party.
I assume there an awful lot of people like me that he cannot rely on, because of his arrogance towards progressives and our issues.

Yesterday on MSNBC, cluelessness hit new heights, as Andrea Mitchell actually had the chutzpah to introduce Joe Solmonese as the man most responsible for getting dadt repealed (or some such bullcrap).
Nauseating.
These cable newsreaders really do specialize in misinformation.
