Mike in Houston commented on the blog post Newt Gingrich underscores NOM’s hypocrisy, desperation
I had no idea that Gingrich had two annulled marriages. Anyway, that does jibe with a comment I read recently that the Catholic Church does a pretty brisk business in annulments.
One thing I find amazing here is that this comment on NOM’s blog ever got through in the first place. If it hasn’t been scrubbed by now, I’d be even more surprised…

Mike in Houston commented on the blog post Yeah, Team Obama is pulling another Rick Warren. And?
“Louie Giglio, like it or not, will deliver the benediction no matter how much fuss is made; the brouhaha over Rick Warren didn’t topple his participation.”
Looks like you’re not only mistaken, but you are mistaken already. See americablog, Joe.My.God, and probably many other blogs, for details…

Mike in Houston commented on the blog post Mitt’s election post-mortem conference call — another heat-seeking missile of 47% #FAIL into the GOP
“You people,” “those people” (see the ad with RMoney getting his shoes shined by one of the 47% while the plane sits and waits for him). Geez. It becomes more and more obvious every day that we really dodged a huge bullet on this one.

Mike in Houston commented on the blog post Sorry religious right, but the gay community isn’t buying what you are selling
Oh, come on. Churches, practically all of them, already have gay employees Think of it. If every gay pianist and organist resigned from every church in America, all the churches would have to convert to being Churches of Christ, where they don’t allow instrumental music.

Mike in Houston commented on the blog post Depths of inhumanity: Wisconsin woman tortures, kills dog – and diaries about the ‘fun’ doing it
I don’t need to read this kind of stuff either. I read a story a couple of years ago about an incident in New York that troubled me for months afterwards.
Thank God she was so stupid that she kept records of everything she did. Even after being arrested, she really looks like she’s doing her damnedest to suppress a smile.
There’s way too much of this kind of thing goes on, and a lot of goes unpunished because of weak state laws. I did at least go and sign the petition that the State of Wisconsin give her the maximum sentence.

Mike in Houston commented on the blog post Chicken Sandwich Eaters Refuse to Lay Golden Egg For NOM
I’ve stopped going to the NOM website because I have decided I don’t need a daily dose of reading their hate posts. However, I’m glad that some of the blogs I read continue to monitor their BS. This is really some great news. I knew there had to be something behind the huge turnout, besides just actual hatred, that is, even though I know it motivated some of the ones who showed up that day. Keep up the [snicker] great work, NOM!
