My sister and I started calling him “Satan” when he was our Senator.

Think about it TBogg, a SnowbillySnooki/Satan ticket would provide all kinds of laughs — right up until they won.

    TBogg,
This morning on the Stephanie Miller show, Charlie Pierce (Boston Globe) referred to you as one of his favorite Bloggers and urged people to check out this post. He mentioned “Touch Trig for a dollar”.

You’re a caution, TBogg, as my Gram use to say when she thought someone was outrageously funny.

Did you see that picture of the “engraged Leftists”? It’s good there was that wall to prop the little buggers up.

Over at Digby’s place, ProudSocialist commented: “From Palin’s perspective, those other people, well, they’re just dead. Sarah, however, has been *insulted*.”

I think that captures the true essence of Sarah, ya know?

Oh fercrissakes, we are just playin’ around. I think I can speak for all of us hoping for someone like Bernie Sanders or Alan Grayson …. we know it ain’t gonna happen.

Nevertheless, I will NOT vote for Obama again. Not because I disagree with so many of his policies, but because he is incompetent. He is the weakest, weeniest, wimpiest preznit ever. This guy has no leadership qualities whatsoever. It sickens me to listen to his bipartisanship BS, and to watch him cave to the rethugs daily.

I’m voting the Bernie Sanders/Matt Taibbi (Democratic MuckRaking Socialist) ticket in ’12.

My dream ticket! But just in case Bernie or Matt refuse our nomination, keep Alan Grayson in mind. He’s gonna have some free time….and knows how to kick rethug ass.

  • Gergen: I find it stunning that the conversation has taken this turn….

Gergen’s thinking: WTF? Are we suppose to tell the truth here? What happened to the village conventional wisdom?

Gawd, I totally love Matt Taibbi. I hope he laughed when Gergen got all pompous on him.

If you haven’t read this piece that Taibbi wrote on the Tea Party, check it out. http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/17390/210904

  • Ha! That was my first thought. I will never forget Oral up in his prayer tower claiming that Gawd would call him home if he didn’t raise $8 million. So the rubes sent him $9 million! Those of us on the heathen, pagan side of the family could not stop laughing. Growing up in Oklahoma, Oral provided me with a lot of laughs. What a horse’s patoot.

I’m personally looking forward to the yuks that we know “Senator” Rand Paul will provide. Getting sworn in with that damn squirrel sitting on his head will be an amusing kick-off. And I’ll be disappointed if he doesn’t throw a hissy fit (in front of the cameras) every time McConnell tells him to sit-down-and-shut-the-fuck-up newbie.

  • “Dude’s a playa and he needs his posse to march in time.”

BINGO! Don’t you just love guys like this? Desperately trying to convince the world just how important they are, when they are, in reality, pissants.

I’m a little sad that Joe is running third in the race. As a US Senator, Joe the Playa would’ve pulled out all the stops in his look-how-important-I-am charade. It would’ve been a hoot.
