Response to Ref 9.(alan1tx)
Once you generate the electricity it could be transmitted by line. wind powered trubines are most desirable in remote locations. I bet you are not aware of wireless electricity transmission (another subject). You probably meant to say that Wind power is not practical around populated areas. -
maadcet commented on the blog post Come Saturday Morning: Reducing the Ecological Risks
I am not so sure of bio-fuel hype (like ethanol). Current technology does not offer a way to make this concept economically, technically, and environmentally feasible (share volume and downstream cleaning). Solar in selected areas could compete with fossil fuels. We can put more money in research and subsidies (for the time being).

maadcet commented on the blog post EPA to Release Fracking Rule Today
Chemicals used in the Fraking process are not disclosed under the banner of “Trade Secrets”, thanks to Mr. Cheney and his industry supporters (exempted from Clean Water Act). It would be great if the communities could push for information under Right to Know LAW (RCRA Regulations??)

Thanks for the information. We are sick and tired of propaganda on Wholefood (a PR package). We get our wheat flour from some company in VT (well worth it). HEB in TX has good section on Organic products. Information is power.

You did not make a clear point about the grand jury in VA. In my memory (that could be short), I have always found indictments in a Grand Jury set up. Hardly any acquittal. The important point, I think Assange made was that justice should be transparent. I dont think he was Whining. -

Oxygen in air when it comes in contact with Hydrogen will cause explosion/oxidation/combustion due to lower LEL (lower explosive limit) of H2. Addition of Nitrogen (or any inert or non reactive gases) is to ensure an extremely dilute concentration of hydrogen in the mixture to prevent ignition.

Human Suffering??? Why you consider human suffering in Libya important. Such game is played in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bharain, Israel, Afghanistan. And you dont want to include them in your list.
