She was pretty much my only friend,but treats me condescendingly now.Rudely also too.

I have to say, I could not consider myself a Democrat until Lyndon Johnson became president. Even then I was first inclined to regard Medicare as ‘creeping socialism’. I voted for McGovern and proceeded to live my idealism.I am thankful & glad he was here to help us all.

Growing up in NJ,I used public transportation & never learned to drive until I was 31 & lived in rural MD. I always longed for NJ (can you believe it?) and only lately realized I actually missed having the high-speedline at my backdoor.
I now drive 31 miles one way to go to work.It never was fun & sure isn’t now.
