We the people in the United States have more in common with the people fighting for freedom and democracy in Egypt than we have with the freedom and democracy hating people that infest our government.

Having been born in the United States and served 20+ years in it’s military, I also am ashamed of what the government of the country of my birth has become. Actually, I am of the opinion that we have never had a truly honest government. We have lied, cheated, stolen, enslaved millions from the inception. The United States is despised in just about all freedom loving nations, along with the Nation/States that it has absorbed by its conquest for power and riches. Ask the Phillippines, Guam, Hawaii, the Trust Territories, Cuba, and countless others.. It all boils down to “If you white, you right”, and if you are of any other racial extraction then you are lower than whale shit and that is on the bottom of the ocean.

I personally thought that back in 2004 when I first heard the name of Barak Obama, that there was a chance to right all the wrongs that had been foisted upon the people of the USA and the world by the very rich white men who controlled the government, but sadly it looks like I was totally mistaken and there is not a chance of anything happening that will benefit humanity.

I no longer live in the USA nor will I ever return to anyplace where its government has any control of my way of life or my liberties and freedoms.

The more the United States stands for tyranny and dictatorships, the less and less credence they will receive from the rest of the free world. Egypt should push harder for freedom and tell the United States that they do NOT have a say in this revolution, but they can have Mubarak if they so desire. They can place him with ALL the other dictators and trash that they have supported for monetary and power reasons over the past 200+ years.

What the future will bring to america is anyones guess, but unless they make a rapid 180 and change their feelings of entitlement and superiority, there will be nothing but pain in your future.

While I was back in Orygun the FBI Chamber of Commerce and the Neighborhood watch are all in a situation that will allow Chrystal Nacht to take place and you know where you will go from there.. Herr Boner the Orange will see that the master race of billionaires is well supported by throw away workers….

I wasn’t but your “less educated than is optimal” is a joke… Here most people speak at least 3 languages, some speak 6 or 7… Kids I know who’s parents returned to the states to see their kids get an “american education” were put ahead 3 years in school…. And these kids are just normal everyday part Tahitian kids who attended little island schools over the end of the world… They got their educations, and even graduated from U of O and Ore State they then came home and went back to high school in our local lycee so that they would be able to compete with other local kids.

Your country is is terrible shape and you all had better wake up and smell the coffee or you will be another banana republic if you aren’t there alreadey

Well the dollar is in the toilet here, it has been lower, but it was almost tolerable until just recently.. Normally we count the money as 100 francs to the dollar, but now it is only 80 francs which means it has lost 20% of it’s buying power which at 100 francs to the dollar means we pay 5 to 7 times the price for an object that you do in the USA.. I bought a tank of Diesel (17 Gallons and it cost me 9,970 francs..

Guess it means that I have to grow more veggies and plant a little sumpin on the side for the rough times a coming… See where you are gonna have a bunch of billions printed up again to flood the world….. Pretty soon you will need a wheel barrow to buy a loaf of bread….. When that happens I don’t know what we will do…

Suz. Here in Tahiti we’re are very very left, in fact most of us are Socialists, but when push gets to shove, we rip up the streets and throw the paves at the gendarmes, government offices, mayors offices and any and all government bldgs… Just like in France… We value our Freedoms, and we do NOT have guns, but again when we start breaking heads here the gendarmes have enough sense not to come out with weapons as that would be the straw that would allow Tahiti to be independant

I was 7 when she died, and It was and still is to me the worst thing that I have ever been through…. She had raised me as mom was working in the war effort and dad was off in the army where ever… That is another story… But I am pushin 73 and my grandma is still as clear in my mind today as she was when I was 7, I was reading Jack London when I was 5…. I spent 20 years in the US Navy trying to see all of the pacific I could and see where I wanted to live…. My steps did not vary off course one iota… I never married until after I retired as I knew that marriage would be my cul de sac

I did my twilight cruise in Pearl and became a DJ for KCCN which at the time was the worlds only Hawaiian music Station I love the music, language and customs of the Polynesians and I headed on down south to the island where the Hawaiians came from which is now called Raiatea… Its old name was Havai’iki Nui which is the root word for Hawaii… My wife is a direct descendent of the last queen of Tahiti.. She owns the spring of Havi and my daughter lives in Te Fare Arii… I guess that Gramma Dear is satisfied with her avatar

Patrick my moms mother was a first generation Swede born in the united states in Chicago on the night of the Chicago fire.. Her family headed west and ended up in Port Angeles WA where she met and married my grandad who was a son of an american who had lived in Nova Scotia and grandpa was born there. His dad and family eventually returned to Wisconsin and Grand dad headed west with a bro and he ended up having a Cedar mill in Port angeles where he married my grandma and then they packed up and headed for Orygun and Madras… I think that he was just plain looney as Madras is about the armpit of the universe Anyhoo Gramma Dear read me everything about the south seas She had this incredible fascination over Queen Liliuokalani the last queen of Hawaii and she could play and sing each and every song that the queen had written both in english and in Hawaiian… I was Grandmas avatar to the south pacific and my whole life was designed to someday live in the south pacific…..

That pretty well knocks out the Reich Wing Fundies in my favorite state, I knew that the locals, or at least the ones I knew would never support a bunch of anal retentives like the group that were running… Aiona I never had the mispleasure to meet… But he has to be just another asshole….
