Wow, that sounds delicious, especially the homemade apple pie! We were on the road and stopped at a Mexican restaurant on Route 66 in Albuquerque. My husband had tamales and I had fajitas. Didn’t miss the turkey at all.
(Btw, I saw mac ‘n cheese recipes in three different cooking magazines for holiday dinners. Will have to have it Xmas!)
