So, the gist of her message is that it’s wrong to persecute people for their lifestyle choices? The irony is awesome. Her thinking that Christianity is a choice, even though people change religions all the time, and she does think that being LGBT is a choice although the conversion camps have changed no one except some serious self loathers just makes the whole thing even more pathetic and hilarious.

I know that I really shouldn’t be amazed at how vivid the imagination of the right wing base is but yet again, they are really coming up with a doozy. I’m worried about the same things as that first woman, but not because of marriage equality. The more these people yammer the more obvious it is that although they scream about being super patriots and holier than everyone they have read neither the Bible nor the Constitution. Doesn’t this guy realize that all anyone needs to do nowadays is use the Internet to find out what is really going on? Stuff like this is why I don’t think that the anti-bullying groups will get far in the US. It would be a lot more accurate if that graphic had “Christianity” in the place of “gay marriage”, but only in the case of NoM and groups like them. They have made “Christian” and “asshole” synonyms. I find that sad even though I’m not religious.
