Kevin, please tell them Mark Haller of UE506 in Erie wishes them the best. I have met some of them at the last two UE Conventions and at the Labor Notes conference, as well as at the Ed Schultz One Nation Working Together Rally on 10-2-10 at the National Mall.
You I met here at Occupy Erie. They should remember the UE506 guy with the ponytail to my ass.

We in Erie, PA are Occupying without not only heat, but without tents, too. We had the same argument used against us. Making a warm shelter is not the problem. Making a cheap and disposible warm shelter that can be replaced in a couple of hours is where we start running into a wall. I did enjoy my nights at the gazebo; I agree about the cold. Because of occupy Supply, the unprepared part is going away. [...]

I have been aware of these “model bills” being pushed through state legislatures by ALEC members for almost a year. This is one of the things we need to educate the communities about, and fast. This is a fit for the Occupy Movement, ALEC is a major arm of the 1%.
