I wonder if it could have anything to do with S Silva, since he did plead guilty to all charges today and has likely made/accepted a plea deal, including testifying against DT.

Thank you so much Jane and BD! First hand accurate news finally, compared to the many conflicting media reports. It was reported by some that when Elena Teyer spoke out to Dzhokhar he simply put his head down and had no reaction, but other reports said (maybe some people could see him better) as he [...]

I give Elena Teyer so much credit. It was no easy task for her to stand up in that courtroom and say what she did. She was obviously very emotional about it, and then being forcibly taken out of the courthouse, I can see why she was still very emotional when talking to reporters, and [...]

I think most people just sit on their couch watching TV, and believe whatever the msm news shows or tells them. They don’t even think to question or research on their own. If they did it might be a whole different world, one with justice, peace and freedom for all.

I’ve said it before Woody, I like how you think and what you say and I hope to God you are right about everything. It would be great if Murphy could be of help to the defense.

yes, the shot could have happened as you say, but remember it was still light out and the pictures were darkened on purpose, likely to hide themselves or to show the extent of what they had done. No matter where it exactly happened, I do think it did happen after he was pulled from the [...]

The fact that Richard DesLaurier created/participated in the ridiculous demonizing re-enactment docudrama says everything about him. A man with no integrity, no morals, no decency and no respect for the law or a persons right to a fair trial. He could easily be behind the framing of the brothers. He seemed like a pathetic gutless [...]

all great points! I believe that DT’s bedside confession is nothing but lies and BS from those who interrogated/tortured him. There is no way that anyone in DT’s terrible condition could be thinking clearly and certainly not speaking, and the other thing is that Ortiz is nothing but a liar and nothing she says can [...]

The ridiculous story by the 3 law “experts” shows the immense bias by those in Boston. Nancy Gertner is a retired judge! Even she does not believe in innocent until proven guilty! The US is in a very disturbing, undemocratic, unconstitutional state of affairs. Seems the gov is just all about money, greed, power, war, [...]

The FBI/pros to this day does not know who made the bombs and where were they made. Basically no evidence tying the brothers to the bombs. There was not a trace of evidence of bombs at the family apartment, at DT’s dorm or in any vehicle belonging to DT or TT. If DT’s Honda supposedly [...]

Good post Jane and good to continue talking about all of this “so called evidence” against Dzhokhar, Tamerlan, and everyone else involved in this case. Another instance of LE/FBI misconduct was how the brothers were immediately blamed and reported by media for robbing a 7-11 convenience store without a single shred of evidence. This proved [...]

For the gov or judges in this case to say that the leaks are not prejudicial would be an absolute lie. Everyone knows that damage to Dzhokhar by all of the leaks in this case has been very severe. The leaks are done by the FBI/pros, for the sole purpose of prejudicing the public against [...]

and leftcoast@20. Maybe Glickman and DT’s defense are coordinating their efforts, but Glickman does have a legitimate reason for objecting to the leaks. Although MM does not actually say anything too bad about KM, the article is still damaging in that it connects him in a personal way to the brothers, and creates suspicion towards [...]

Thanks for the link Woody, this is good info. So glad to see Mr. Glickman doing the right things for Matanov. I read the motion he filed, which is very good. (accessible within the article). Wouldn’t it be a much deserved slap in the face to tool and ortiz, if the judge in Matanov’s case, actually [...]

I too think Matanov could benefit the defense. He is the only witness to how normal and calm the brothers were within an hour or so after the marathon. What they had to say, what they all thought about the events of that day, and also later in the week. Why wouldn’t the defense want [...]

I think with the no indictment in the Eric Garner case, which is so blatantly shocking and unjust, and people were able to see with their own eyes, due to the the video of Mr. Garners death at the hands of police, I think many many eyes, of every color, were opened very wide yesterday [...]

good post Woody! IMO the FBI just think that Matanov knows something, something they want, so by following him for a year and harassing him and then doing a huge swat bust into his home in the middle of the night, they thought they could make him talk and say things they want him to [...]

Good post Lauraw! I still don’t think we will ever know the whole true story of what happened in Watertown, unless Dzhokhar takes the stand at trial and tells us. Richard Donahue was definitely shot by another cop. It was publicly announced by LE within a few days after Watertown. tool’s recent rulings just go [...]

Great post pbs and appropriate title. It all sounds very “fishy” to me. Once again, nothing normal here. Once a person is convicted, they are usually sentenced within a few weeks or a month, but of course not in this case. There is no doubt in my mind that the FBI/pros did everything here simply [...]
