mhender commented on the blog post Alex Jones On Piers Morgan “1776 Will Commence Again” If Guns Taken Away
Ugh…. The thought of Jones in boxing trunks has ruined my breakfast. Is there some rule that says conservative pundits must shout rather than just speak at normal levels?

Getting out while the getting is good. In 50 days it’ll be like the Titanic and T-Paw is heading for the lifeboats now.

mhender commented on the blog post Come Saturday Morning: What Is It With Minnesota Republicans and Insulting Their Neighbors?
But think of all the sideshows we’d have had with the whole Repub team pulling together. Without Dayton’s vetoes, we could have been holding our own with Wisconsin/Walker in sheer entertainment value…. I am hoping that by the fall elections, people will have wised up to the real agendas they have (and it doesn’t appear to be jobs yet).

Take a look at this link to see how this blog infiltration is happening across many topics. Really kind of scary to see how little you can track where this is really coming from….

mhender commented on the diary post Boehner’s Bedfellow: There’s a Reason Gibson’s CEO’s Name’s Pronounced “Jerkowitz” by Phoenix Woman.
Wasn’t this legislation implemented when Bush was President? Why was it OK as far as trade legislation then but not now? I have my own opinion of the “jerk” as I also make my living in music and music production. He decided that Gibson should buy out a company called Opcode in the mid to [...]

mhender commented on the blog post Wisconsin: Republicans Move to Split Budget Repair Bill, Pass Anti-Union Measures Tonight
They might win this battle by an underhanded move, but I think they’ll be slaughtered in the court of public opinion if they do.

mhender commented on the blog post Come Saturday Morning: Solar and Bachmann and Patriots, Oh My!
Hey PW,
Can you believe that article in the Strib this morn about Pawlenty? The article makes it sound like the second coming of Christ, at least to those at CPAC. His voice was gravely, which added to his gravitas? I hope Timme never gets wheels in this presidential run.. -
mhender commented on the blog post Sunday Late Night: Why Remember Ronnie?
Ronnie was the beginning of the end for America’s unions… My own union suffered several crippling defeats in strikes after Reagan showed the corporate world how to effectively bust us. Never been the same since.

mhender commented on the blog post Come Saturday Morning: Governor Grownup Shows Us How It’s Done
Here, here!! Were that we had only been able to salvage one of the Houses for Dem control, I’d be more optimistic about Dayton’s ability to attack the budget issues like an adult. Unfortunately I fear that those across the aisle in the legislature may not reciprocate. I sure would love to see Minnesota return to the state that I moved to and loved thirty years ago.

mhender commented on the blog post Come Saturday Morning: After Years of Disinterest, Pawlenty Suddenly Wants to be Governor Again
The end of his term can’t come quickly enough. Just glad Emmer didn’t drag this out into January. I wonder if the decision ended up being financial, as the Mpls Star Tribune is reporting this morning that many Minnesota county election boards are complaining about non payment from the Republican party, noting that Dayton and the Dems have made relatively immediate renumeration for recount expenses. Either way, Timmy is history!
