mls78 commented on the diary post Would Tsarnaev Acquaintance Todashev Confess To Something He Didn’t Do? by E. F. Beall.
If this were my child and this defense attorney Judy Clarke, was my child’s attorney, I would find someone else. Mainly because the media is amplifying the fact that she is known for defending nutjobs and terrorists. On the other hand, if I was resigned to the thought that the best outcome was life in prison, [...]

mls78 commented on the diary post Tsarnaevs: Did Russia Turn US Against North Caucasus Separatism? by E. F. Beall.
The whole thing reeks and the people that would normally be trying to get to the bottom of it have bought into the official narrative, because they have become a glamorized part of it.

mls78 commented on the diary post Tsarnaevs: Did Russia Turn US Against North Caucasus Separatism? by E. F. Beall.
I did read elsewhere that Jeff Bauman said he had seen Tamerlan put his backpack down by him. I had not read the account that you linked to before this. I also do not doubt Jeff Bauman’s recollection and that he remembers how he felt, but I doubt he was able to know what Tamerlan’s thoughts [...]

There is also a photo of him running away without it. Maybe it’s the original, then again maybe the back pack in the later photo is not the same backpack.

This post made me immediately think of Sheldon Cooper’s plan from TV’s The Big Bang Theory “Nuevo Jerusalem”

mls78 commented on the diary post How Tamerlan Tsarnaev Became a 2011 Throat-Slasher After he Became a 2013 Bomber by E. F. Beall.
Also, it does stand to reason that some agents from the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team would have been called to Boston during that time.

I must have missed that bit in the last post.
If they were part of that team at Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s arrest, then it is doubtful the FBI will ever admit it. I guess we will never know.

mls78 commented on the diary post How Tamerlan Tsarnaev Became a 2011 Throat-Slasher After he Became a 2013 Bomber by E. F. Beall.
Kind of strange about the two FBI agents dying in a training exercise recently near Quantico VA. Seeing as how they just happened to have been at the scene of Dzhokkar Tsarnaev’s arrest from the boat parked in that Watertown backyard. “Last month, the team was involved in the arrest of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, a suspect in [...]

I agree. I saw that speech on another website. It’s what got me wondering,”what is his problem?”, considering where he came from.

mls78 commented on the blog post President Obama Makes Ronald Reagan Proud
I can’t help but think that emotionally Obama is still that lonely kid, one of two African-Americans, attending the elitist Punahou High School in Honolulu trying too hard be one of the rich kids. Maybe a good psychologist could help him to snap out of it.

Title IX? Do you mean the Patsy T. Mink Equal Opportunity in Education Act?
She was a true visionary. Mahalo Patsy, the world could use someone like you now.

Give the Catholic Church another 300 to 400 years or so. That’s about how long it takes for them to come around to the rest of the world’s view. Think Galileo.

mls78 commented on the blog post Maggie, I Wish I’d Never Seen Your Face
This made me wonder what her, now adult, son thinks about marriage equality after being raised by someone like this. He seems to disagree with his mother, but not enough to comment publicly. Apparently he is a writer of musicals in New York. Go figure. Here is the link about the son. Some good comments there too, with a little back and forth between Maggie and the writer.

mls78 commented on the diary post The REAL War on Christmas by GregoriusU.
Every time Bill O and his ilk hear Happy Holidays used instead of Merry Christmas it reminds them that not everyone celebrates Christmas. They are forced to think of the “other” which is anathema to them. It makes them uncomfortable to have a caring thought for someone other than themselves. They are incapable, self-centered pricks [...]

Just jumping in to tell you that the Koch Bros lost that one i.e. prop 32. I’m not from California, but have been watching a lot of their propositions and am sad to say the vote that I was most interested in lost (i.e. prop 37 – the one about GMO labeling). Big business (read [...]
