If I were in SoCal, I’d have done it for free. But if you were going to spring for the ice cream anyway, I’d have held out for Americone Dream. The chip clusters in Snack just aren’t crunchy enough, and they’re a bit greasy.

Stop calling it the Club for Growth and refer to it more accurately as the Club for Cancer. That’s what it is, a promotion of unrestricted growth in one sector regardless of the damage to the overall health of the organism, in this case the body economic.

And his birthing place is in such a pretty setting, he couldn’t help but be special. Try visiting it when the weather’s better. And the adjunct business produces some pretty tasty stuff. That is a truly beautiful picture. The boys definitely know how to “Vogue” for the camera.

In college, the newlyweds lived off money derived from selling stock Daddy George had bought with the couple thousand dollars a year Mittens received in birthday gifts. Neither Ann nor Mitt ever had to clean a grease trap, clear cafeteria trays, or even tutor a dumb-as-a-brick undergrad (I graded papers, did seminar posters, and typed occasional papers for friends.) And if that money ran out, their parents would no doubt have helped. Mitt didn’t start at the bottom when he graduated. He entered the work force rather far up the food chain, as I recall.

Now Ann and Mitt want her to get a medal for doing the same stuff less “empowered” women do in addition to spending time away from their families in pursuit of the means to feed, clothe, and house the kids.

Ms. Cupp, if I or one of my cohort had gone the route of “empowerment via matrimony”, we’d have been labeled “gold diggers.” Ann escaped that by being born rich to begin with. If Ms. C and Mrs. R. don’t understand that, they’re both denser than constipated dog turds.

How is that picture not evidence of child abuse? A tiny tyke tux with shorts? Where’s Tim Gunn when you need him. Justice Roberts take heed. Dr. Laura dress Deryk in little boy clothes so long he turned into a vicious psycho when he left the nest.

Not with a bang but a whimper.

Actually, the site is more a whine than a whimper. And a tantrum, do not forget the tantrum. Breitbart is not dead, just holding his breath until he turns blue. He is just not ready to go on the cart, either!

  • Well, Bill, the rest of us are being encroached upon to pay the remediation need for you pickling your liver and plugging your arteries. We pay it in healthcare premiums.

  • I think the important point to make is that, under the amendment, employers may deny coverage for moral concerns. If an employer’s morality opposes reduced profits caused by spending on any benefit, said employer may deny it. Watch for the return of scrip and the company store (Cue Tennessee Ernie Williams.)

So, as long as an armed federal agent doesn’t come to my door and threaten to shoot me if I don’t hand over my tax dollars, it’s a good thing for the government to use other, non-coercive methods to gather the funds needed to accomplish it’s goals

What would be the WATBs reaction if the person who tripped the sensor had been Representative Kieth Ellison? I’m sure they’d tell him to “Shut up and take it like a man. If you present as a terrorist, expect to be treated as one. We must err on the side of keeping the white Amurkin flying public safe from you and any inconvenience random screening might pose.”

  • @Hatmandu Seems to me McM and her brethren and cystren are confusing wants and needs big time, and failing to anticipate that, like the rest of us mere mortals, when things turn down, the wants must be subsumed by the needs. I’m sure the guy who could easily afford that modest home on his the salary he made at a job he held for 20 years feels like he built his life around an expectation, too. If he can live with the foreclosure that came with his downsizing, the The (Wall) Street people can live with switching to Maxwellhouse and Kendal Jackson.
