The “lesser of two evils” is still the LESSER of two evils. I know Al Gore is fat, but does anybody really think he would have started the illegal Iraq war? Or given all those tax cuts to the rich? No? Then all those fucking Naderites in swing states should have voted for him. Period. End of fucking discussion. And now they should vote for the centrist Obama because Mitt. Okay? Jesus! How many times do we have to go over this?

Whenever I encounter somebody who complains about the fact that the Democrats are a centrist party (and they are, who are we kidding here?) so what’s the point of voting for them, I ask them to answer the following question honestly: do you think we would have invaded Iraq in 2003 if Al Gore had been president? It’s a very simple question and we all know the answer. Fuck no. This exercise can be repeated for many of the Bush administration’s odious policies.
