There’s a great fresh fish vendor in our Farmer’s Market, and I’ve become a weekly customer. In addition to salmon, I often buy whatever new and unusual items he has on offer. Last Saturday it was a variety of sea bass. I’ve also bought “dry pack” scallops and they’re truly yummy, and you can do them on the grill. He can usually tell me how he likes to prepare whatever I’ve bought.
I found the Rosemary & Garlic chicken recipe in Cooking Light magazine’s “best of” issue several years ago and have been making it ever since. Cooked on the grill, it seems to need no seasoning other than the rosemary and garlic. I just couldn’t let that broken piece of rosemary go to waste, even though I’ve had chicken a couple of times already this week.
OK back to the sewing machine (in my nice cool basement). It has hit 102º here, but backed off to 100º now.
