Dude! We all know you don’t hire people out of the goodness of your heart. Your customers pay you to hire workers. Rich people don’t create jobs, CUSTOMERS CREATE JOBS!

Elections are won with the middle-of-the-road moderate voters, only after you have solidified you base. Even someone running for 8th grade Class President knows that.

mspithy commented on the blog post BREAKING: Republicans All Hate Newt Gingrich Now, Too
Newt made the mistake of thinking he was running in the general election, not the Republican primary. Typical of a an egotistical megalomaniac, he thinks he is the obvious winner of the nomination.

Repeal the New Deal, heck, Republicans fondest desires would be to repeal The Enlightenment and even the Magna Carta.

mspithy commented on the blog post WI State Assemblyman: Republicans Ran Out of Capitol Last Night After Voting
Please, bother away! Do you think the Republicans would give one second’s thought to wives and children? On the contrary, women and children are their favorite targets.
Your representatives work for you! If they are not answering the other lines, bother, bother, bother as often as possible!

mspithy commented on the diary post Scott Walker, Meet Robert LaFollette by Peterr.
I went to elementary and high school in Wisconsin back in the day. All school kids were taught to be proud of “Fighting Bob” La Follette. Geeze, maybe that’s why I’m a “sanctimonious liberal.”

mspithy commented on the blog post Americans Finally Sorta Like the GOP Again
This surprises me not at all! When national Democrats, cough-Obama-cough, do not call out the Republicans on their lies, such as “Death Panels,” and “Socialist-Marxist-Kenyan-Government-Take-Over-Of-Just-About-Everything,” Americans do not hear the other side. If they don’t hear the other side, how can they believe the other side? And, how great is it for the Republicans when the Democratic, cough, president regurgitates Republican talking points!

That is not the worst of the S.E. Cupp quote, she is proud of not caring if polar bears are driven into extinction, and then this…

Fuck her.

mspithy commented on the blog post Those Who Refuse TSA Patdown Will Be Denied Airport Entry
pippilin, Mason was answering my question about the coercion used by the TSA. They are using the threat of not boarding the plane or $11,000 fines to force travelers to consent to a strip search or sexual assault. Coerced consent is not consent, when prosecuting sexual assault.

Yes, but Constitutionally, isn’t the sexual groping just as bad as the electronic strip search?

mspithy commented on the blog post Those Who Refuse TSA Patdown Will Be Denied Airport Entry
I have been looking around the internets at the definition of “sexual assault.” Touching a person in their private areas without consent is universal in the definitions. Even more important is that consent must be given freely, not coerced in any way.
I would appreciate your opinion. When I enter the airport and TSA says to me, “Will you consent to Security touching your breasts and genitals? If not, you can not enter the airport.” Is this the most coercive statement you have ever heard?

mspithy commented on the blog post Fact Sheet: Know Your Passenger Rights on TSA Opt-Out Day
1000 thanks to you, Mason. I have been contemplating what I would do if I find myself in the situation of having to refuse a strip search (without probable cause) and a sexual assault. Americans fought and died in order to hand me the 4th Amendment on a silver platter the day I was born. I have never had to pick up a gun in wartime to defend it, thank goodness. I guess it is now our time to make sure, by using civil disobedience, that future generations will have a 4th amendment that actually means something.

mspithy commented on the blog post Pistole Tells a Whopper in Senate Testimony to Cover His AIT Spending Spree
Stimulus funds were used to buy these porn scanners??? Someone needs to be fired! That money should have been used to train TSA workers to detect deceitful human behaviors, something all terrorists have in common, no matter what weapon they will use to terrorize us. We would have been creating jobs and we really would be safer, like the Israelis.

Do you think Chertoff will stop at selling these porn machines to airports? Don’t people who go to malls, ride trains and the subway or go to football games want to be “safe,” too?
