The GOP controlled House can now start choosing how to go about their business of oversight, but the public’s expectations – and needs -are very different now than what the economy dictated in the gravy years of the mid-late 90′s. There is risk for electoral blowback if the GOP thinks they can dust off the same sideshow playbook during a time when the economy is in the shitter, people are out of work, and the public is watching to see if the shift of power spells relief.
