Ms. Warren was on Bill Maher last week and I believe that she said her current role gave her more lattitude to be more involved and [I think she said] less political. She could get to work right away, and not worry about the politics of confirmation. I’m sure she is doing a lot of the work as acting, even though it’s not completely stood up yet.

If you read the LA Times, it all about illegals in the comments section. t Apparently if you just eject every brown person out of the state, the budget crisis would be solved. It’s so simple. Apparently there is no mention of corporations not paying fair market value property taxes assessed at current value. Proposition 13 is still the third rail.

However, with proposition 26 it requires a 2/3′s majority for state levies or fees for government programs. It was backed by the oil companies and it passed. This will not help California. They will still be in the same problem when it comes to raising revenues from businesses. Their hands are tied.
