You can defend Obama all you want. I still look at him as the guy who sticks up for Wall street while saying he is looking out for Main Street.

As the guy who doesn’t bat an eyelash for killing innocents with drones in the Mid-East.

As the guy who has deported more Immigrants than any other president.

As the guy who said he would close GitMo but hasn’t.

AS the guy who said that he would put on his walking shoes and march with union workers but hasn’t.

As the guy who has jailed more whistle blowers than any previous president.

Now to tell me that the buck suddenly stops in Cincinnati and the president who has all this power and is able to affect so many lifes through that power should be free of any irresponsibility for said action.

Well I tell you what. First I want to buy that bridge in Brooklyn that every one is trying to sell all the time. Then I’m gonna sit on the very top of that bridge and face toward Washington and hope to see the dust that is going to be blowing around the white house from the occupant sitting in there.

I keep conjuring up the picture of the ten dead Afghan kids killed by bombing NATO forces a couple of weeks ago. It was really striking.

Growing up and being taught history in various schools I never could understand when it came to WW2 how the German population allowed the holocaust to take place.

I guess it makes sense in a alternate universe. However I think it still is a pretty weak argument for trying to get through the pearly gates since it goes against everything Christ taught. Then again these types don’t strike me as great thinkers or even average rational thinkers.

It seems to me that they truly see themselves as honest and caring while in effect they are just the opposite.

Seems to me that the last straw for the camel has arrived. I don’t think that there are many Europeans feeling confident with their bank deposits right now. Why should they? Having Cyprus agree to a haircut undermines all confidence in the banking system.

This is a total asinine move on the government that will lead to bank runs throughout Europe and now will collapse the Euro. Something that could have easily been avoided is something now that will be easily destroyed.

Taking the the bus to work and cooking his own meals for a man of that stature is revealing. St. Francis of Asssi in the 1200′s was truly serving the poor of his time. He had no personal possession. Although he is considered a patron saint of the animals he was so opposed to material ownership that he would not have even keep pets of any kind because it showed a material possession of them.

Now you look at all these cardinals parading around in their velvet robes and rings and limo’s and ask your self. Does a guy like Cardinal Dolan or a number of any other cardinals strike you as about to give up his life of comfort? It’s kinda like asking does the career politician strike you as someone that is looking out for his people.

My take is that he will attempt to help the poor by being a true reformer for the poor of the world. However he will be stopped by other groups with more personal interests.

If this rage and contempt every gets properly harnessed then the powers that be better look the fuck out!
