It’s long past time progressives made a commitment to fielding an actual primary challenger, whether its Sanders or somebody else, and made that priority #1.
Where’s the daily campaign from the front page crew highlighting the state of that process? Why isn’t Jane championing the selection of a primary challenger whenever she obtains invaluable airtime? Why isn’t the progressive community translating angst into action by organizing a mob of boots on the ground outside Sanders’ office, shellacking him with moral arguments of the form: “If you really believe in your principles, how can you sit on the sidelines and back a president who obviously doesn’t share them?
If Sanders balks, then you move down the line to Feingold or Grayson until someone’s hat is in the ring. Chronicling why Obama is a disappointment day after day is pointless.

What about voter disenfranchisement issues? At the very least there should be something about ensuring the integrity of the vote with auditable paper ballots.
