Thank you,Siun. Yes, that surely doesn’t seem to much to ask.
I’m heartsick at the gleeful carnage Israel is wallowing in. It’s an act against humanity.

I’m waiting for crab stock to cool enough to jar and cap it. And put it in the fridge without making everything in there stink of shellfish.
I know I’m sitting in the dark talking to myself in a crab smelly room, …….but, when I think of Old German/Old English men, very serious men. Well, I think of “crabby” being them with their hands down their trousers and scratching like a White Authoritarian with dry scaly skin and critters on his crotch!

So, is font n fly too weird? Yeah, probably. I have trouble with drive-by because of the reality of Drive-By, it should be respected. I think. I always cringe when I write “just doing a drive-by”……..
It sucks to over think altruistically.
    Sweet dreams,all.

I’m going to make this a font and fly. The timer just went off so the crab stock is finished. Time to strain it and let it cool down outside. Much as I love crab, it’s really good to only cook it for a small amount of time in the house. It’s pungent!

Ah, now you’ve gone and done it, CTuttle. You’ve got me weeping in my beer, reading the words of a fine young man. So many fine young men. Why don’t we cherish them more? Why is it “women and children” we should mourn first? Well, other than the thing about women and children don’t usually actively engage in violence to defend their community from foreigners who have no idea where in the world they are.
It’s not their job to know where the fuck in the world they are, sir. It’s their job to blow shit up.

I’m having trouble wrapping my head around your trouble. Are you saying that FDL is a leftist group, a movement? We should come to a group think and agree to comfort the supporters of Israel, while watching Israel commit genocide? I think of FDL as an information site. Often open source, the best information gathering. [...]

  • Thank you,Rebecca Solnit and Pamela Merrit for an excellent Book Salon. Rebecca, your article Men Explain Things To Me is absolutely spot on. I look forward to reading your book.

  • This isn’t going to be a popular view, but, while I understand a need for words to help direct our conversations… I think “feminism” as a concept is a social control- mind control project aimed at creating more diversity and less integration. I am a strong female who’s worked a lifetime in untraditional aka Male Dominated jobs. Which most jobs were back in the days of 8 track cassette players and computers that maxed out on Hangman. And as most jobs continue to be in these supposedly less hostile-to-women days.
I think “ism” implies a group concept. Group concepts of reality are controlled by the alpha personalities, reinforced through violence/redemption/violence of others.
I also think young men are becoming more feminized, more passive and I’m starting to look beyond the obvious cultural shifts,i.e. so little is expected of them and so often true respect gained from learning life skills is withheld from them. These have impact. However, sometimes I look at the water supply and wonder…

I have fantasies about doing some sort of textile wall piece incorporating all my strange natural stuff. However, I’m afraid it would reinforce the concept of my possible schistophrenia.

Opals are my favorites. I’ve got a thin sliver of Australian Fire opal in my treasure box. Next to a silk worm cocoon.
No idea what you do with things like this.

Very cool. We actually live in one of the places in the world known for amethyst and we had a public area where you could take the kids and hunt crystals. It was awesome. Unfortunately, it was county land and wiser minds allocated it for gravel. fucking white men
