You lucky fucker! I work helping others figure out how to grow food and beverages for local consumption. I’m wrong almost every day (sometimes, like today, all day long) about something, but, then again, bugs have no moral conscience and that burning ball-o-fire in the sky (or lack thereof) doesn’t listen or care. Same with the stoopid clouds. I admit it, I’m no St Dr Prez Jill Stein or Jack (from beanstalk fame) but if I was there’d be a pig in every pot and basil in every poke.

Years back, and this is a true story, one of my friend’s cousin’s brother’s girlfriend (who works in the legal world not the illegal world) had locked her keys in her car. Suddenly this beautiful, beautiful lady (the future Dr. Saint President Jill Stein) appeared through the mist (weird because this was in the desert, at 5 p.m.) and spun a perfect car key out of golden cactus flowers. True story. Damdest thing I ever heard. And when my friend’s cousin’s brother’s girlfriend offered to give Saint Stein a ride into town she (President Stein) whistled serenely and a magnificent pony appeared and Dr Stein hopped aboard and flew up-up-and-away directly into the sun.
