First, they aren’t storing ALL our information. Just the stuff you do on the internet.
And it appears to be only the server logging information being stored. Not the contents of the communications. That logging information exists on about a dozen or so routers and servers between you and wherever it is you are connected. And has existed as long as the internet. Longer acutally.
You send an email, and the same logs are generated. The internet can’t function without all that logging happening btw. It is needed for troubleshooting and dynamic routing. Wherever you go on the internet there is a trail.
How exactly do you see that information being used to oppress people?
