This is such fabulous news. I am ready to auto-donate monthly.
In these times, it is scary that we cannot trust our main-stream-media.
Everyone says so- from Occupy to Tea Party. So when can we replace our Congress so we can enforce once again Sherman Anti-trust laws and break up the dastardly monopolies – in media, banks, telecommunications, insurance,… That might help a lot.
But now is the time to support intrepid reporting! I love it! Thank you Daniel Ellsberg, Glenn Greenwald, et al!

patginsd commented on the blog post Key Details on Bradley Manning’s Confinement Were Kept from Army Commander Who Visited Regularly
“And when he finished testifying, he stood up and walked over to shake Manning’s hand.”
I about dropped my computer.
Is this perhaps the first time another person actually touches his hand since he’s been detained?
Is this not monumental?
I could not believe the narrative.
I see from pictures that the guards just touch his clothing, and I even had imagined that he meets with his lawyer
separated by glass? What is his circumstance when he meets with his lawyer?
I am heartened by the humanity of this Army Commander. All the rest that “serve” appear to have lost their souls. -
patginsd commented on the blog post Dissenting Torture Memo Bush Administration Tried to Destroy Released
Our government is filled with traitors and prevaricators- many of them in control since the time of Nixon… just changed hats along the way, once they got rid of JFK. Psychopaths all. Traitors all. There may be but a handful that could redeem themselves under oath. I wish we could try them all.

patginsd commented on the diary post John Kerry Investigating Bradley Manning’s Solitary Confinement by greenharper.
Just called Kerry, McCain and Kucinich offices. All their help seem totally ignorant and unconcerned. I filled their ear about how unAmerican it is to treat this young man- as yet not tried- WORSE than the Gardner guy in California that raped and murdered 2 teenagers. That rapist murderer gets to see his family often. [...]
