Nope, I don’t think it will be Kennedy who would leave, but I do worry about Ginsburg. I do think that Walker has this wrapped up in a very nice package, but frankly, I don’t trust the outcome of anything any more.
I absolutely believe that change will happen, and it is certainly due – I live in Vermont and the sky has not fallen since we passed our civil union and then marriage laws.

Not to be too cynical here, but I think they are trying to stack the SCOTUS. They are weighing the odds that there will be a new Justice coming in before they have to try the case upstream, and of course hoping that the POTUS who picks that new Justice is not Obama. If they can win in November, get an R in the White House, then they can fix the case in 2 years when it finally makes it to the top.

1800 vote margin with 98 precincts left to report. Wish I knew how big those precincts were.

I’m seeing about 100 precincts left to report, with about 39 of those in counties that have been supporting P. Can the other 60 precincts carry K? It would be nice to think so.

So according to the AP site, there are still about 130 precincts left to report, and K is trailing by about 1400 votes. I am so freaking tired of losing to these b*stards!

Fond du Lac just came in heavy for Prosser :(. Very, very close right now

Greetings!
I’ve been trying to play with the numbers a bit – Waukesha is heavily red, and will carry a lot of votes for Prosser, but they were running out of ballots in Fond du Lac, so nothing reported there yet. It still looks like the shear numbers of votes in Dane County and Milwaukee should carry the race for Kloppenburg. Does this make sense to anybody else? I can’t stand the idea of Prosser winning this… And of course, Rock County, Paul Ryan’s home, is currently going 61% / 39% for Kloppenburg. Nice :)
