Those are great! I think Newtie is fatter now though. That clown photo is really old. But then again, he has been an asshat clown for a really really really long time.

No, not rubbing it in. Just a simple statement. I was helping a friend at a body building competition when it was on and she was running her phone battery down trying to keep up with the game. She then got worried because her phone is set up to take credit cards and she thought her phone would die. LOL She is a much bigger fan than I am.

I love The Muppets! They had to be subtle with their adult humor and they had to include their adult humor so that parents would take the young’uns to see their movies. Wink wink

Yes, Suz. Snow and lower temperatures. Both good. Still windy, but not as much as earlier. Relative though – it’s still quite windy.

I was traveling today – so got to drive in the gusts and wind. Ugh. I do okay, but it does make one tired. I have not seen any videos. Only had one opportunity to read a bit and check the google map posted by the newspaper on line.

Me and mine are all fine. Other people, though, not so much. Fire moved fast in the hurricane force winds, swirling, etc. Fire moved south then when it got to a draw, it moved down. That took it into neighborhoods. Very scary and fast!

Snowing now in some affected areas. That will help put the fire out.

You know that part of Mary Poppins for which I cannot find a UToob. Nasty bit of weather we’re having.

The Unlimited planes are amazingly fast. It was the second to last heat of the day. Only one stunt performer and one more heat, Jets, before quitting time.

I was there the year that a plane just basically fell apart in the air. But it did so down at the far right turn, and the plane parts went straight. It was amazing that no one was hurt. Plane parts fell on house roofs, in back yards, on streets, etc. Pilot died unfortunately. But if that had happened further back up the straightaway, then the debris could have hit spectators. Easily. I would have been in danger where I was.

I only went a few years, back maybe 12 years ago, to work at a high school band fundraising booth.

I don’t ever remember another crash that involved spectators. But there have been a number of pilots lost. Air plane racing does not have a very big margin for error or bad luck.

One friend of mine did have a family close call though. Grand-daughter and her boyfriend were supposed to be there, in the box seats. He left to go pick her up, so was not there. Otherwise….

I don’t know if I will know anyone who was injured or not for a bit – I’ve not actively searched for names though either. I figure by tomorrow the news will have settled some, and the guessing will have subsided.

I hadn’t thought about my friends all around. I would have checked in sooner. So sorry. I do appreciate your thoughtfulness.
