It seems true, my two spinster aunts who moved into Dallas in the 1970′s were angry that their neighbors were Democrats, than discovered almost everyone in their neighborhood was. Now they are tea party fanatics, they got into a shouting match with a 10 year old at Christmas about gay marriage at their church and were thrown out.
