Rational wrote a new diary post: Robert’s Court Recommits Health Care Case?
Random consideration of what the Roberts Court might do I looked to its hiatory. I remember gun law case where this Court introduced news issues and then recommitted ( this may be technicaly wrong term but…) the case tasking the Plantiffs and defendant for new arguements to be given to address the new issues that [...]

Rational commented on the diary post Would “stand your Ground ” apply if Trayvon shot Zimmerman? by Rational.
Assuming this is true and not guided lies by the cops who have been documented as leading other witnesses to lie on behalf of Zimmerman in this case so what? A young innocent man is stalked and accosted by a bigger older individual and defends himself. What your only allowed to defend yourself with guns [...]

Rational commented on the diary post Would “stand your Ground ” apply if Trayvon shot Zimmerman? by Rational.
If the gun nuts had not gotten their way Zimmerman would not had a permit to carry and stand your ground would not have been used to justify as many murders as have occured at the hands of gun weilding nut cases trying to bring back the myths of the old west where justice was [...]

Rational wrote a new diary post: Would “stand your Ground ” apply if Trayvon shot Zimmerman?
In what I have read Trayvon Williams had every right to shoot Mr. Zimmerman if he had been armed. An innocent individual being followed, stalked and challenged by strange older man who confronts him in adark yard. Who knows this could have been the prelude to assualt, theft and possibily even rape. In that case [...]

Rational commented on the diary post Watching “Game Change” with Katie Hurley and Friends in Wasilla by EdwardTeller.
Possibly because they felt at least one of the major characters had to be shown sympatheticly. Remember that one of the reasons that the musical “Chicago” failed with its initial production ( in the 80′s) was that the critics felt that none of the characters was shown with any positive attributes. To tell a story [...]

Beware it almost seems like the successful trail run of passing a budget that the public never had a chance to see in Washington State Senate is being run out for the big time in the US House.

Rational commented on the diary post Romney in ’12 Wingnut in ’16 by Rational.
Read the last line of my post.
That said what you say is the true. But greater hope to change D’s. The R’s are hopeless.
Electing a Dem. helps to move the Overton window to the left.

Rational wrote a new diary post: Romney in ’12 Wingnut in ’16
I believe that Obama can, and will, beat any of the R’s in the race this year. The one thing Obama does fight hard for is his job. ( Not Card Check, Not single payer, not closing Gitmo etc but his job yes) This being so I hope Romney wins the R’s nomination instead of [...]

Rational commented on the diary post Occupy Fisheries – A Positive Move Offshore by EdwardTeller.
I worked for the Tribes in Wa. state and was involved in the fisheries negoitations with Alaska in the NW Fisheries Council and I can state as a fact that the Alaska State Fisheries department was a disaster for everyone else but themselves. They refused to accept that Salmon they were catching offshore were anything [...]

Rational commented on the diary post Occupy Nashville: The End Is (Thursday) Nigh by kyushukev.
Thank You for your response. I am curious if the new laws give the authorities more excuses to harass Homeless whenever they feel like enforcing a code. In some cases if an homeless person is selling one of the papers put out by the homeless ( Wa state has on of these) that cites police [...]

Rational commented on the diary post Occupy Nashville: The End Is (Thursday) Nigh by kyushukev.
A question I have is have the city councils/ legislatures that have passed new laws/ regulations used this as an excuse to write laws that goes beyond limiting free speech and assembly of the Occupy protestors and further infringe the homeless’s ability to survive in these urban areas. I know of munipalities that have tried [...]

Rational commented on the blog post Huntsman Bags It
My opposition to Paul is based upon his ignorant interpatation of the bible and the constitition in conjunction with each other.
He is against anything that would limit a corporation or business in any way but supports any law that would invade ones bedroom.
He will support a individuals right to poision the land and water in the name of freedom while dening people access to the courts to address racism.
The list goes on and on.
Ron paul is nothing but a foil for larouche basket cases. -
Rational commented on the blog post Huntsman Bags It
Arguably the sanest member of the rethuglican clown car ( not that that’s saying much) drops out when he realizes that after getting a “ticket to ride”, with his 3rd place win in NH, Drops out when he, and his fundraisers , realize he is losing to Cobert.
Then Mitt the Ripper, every day a new ad against a different member? Gingrich and Santorum ads write themselves. Ron Paul is a joke. A dangerous joke but nonetheless…
Who knows where Colbert will strike again asks Lamont Cranston.

Rational wrote a new diary post: There is footage of this…
Tropical Cyclone in the Medttearrean, Snowicanes in the Bering Straits. Drilling just approved in Artic. Wasn’t this the way some weather “Disaster” movie start? Hell there is probably footage of this on straight to DVD productions. Now that reality has seemed to have sunk to the level of a Reagan Intelligence Briefing ( See Rachael [...]

Rational wrote a new diary post: Primary confusion, lawyers and return of smoke filled rooms
A modest prediction on the coming course of the Rethuglican nomination process. First a couple of corollaries 1) The republican primary/caucaus schedule is collapseing like a telescope closing to an earlier and earlier resolution and start with a very short window betweeen beginning and end. 2) Many of these date changes are in violation of [...]

Rational commented on the blog post Livestream from #OccupyWallStreet: Naomi Klein’s Speech
I am sure that APEC is very happy that they are having their meeting on an Island ( Oahu ) where transportation of protesters and supporting area that they can draw from is limited.
They have learned from Seattle and Quebec keep these meeting isolated so opposing voices can’t be heard or seen.

Rational commented on the blog post Late Night FDL: Uh, Where Are You Going with Our Banner, Mr. President?
In which case the question becomes ;
Whether the delay caused by the escape velocity and ,possible, extra time consumed by greater height continual steepness of drop off ( 100 ft v 200 ft) would equal, or exceed the extra time consumed by only driving 85 to the drop off?
I am sure the crucial determient would be the distance where the vehicles start from. This is truly getting into the weeds.

Rational wrote a new diary post: An Idea For Saving The Demoratic party
I, unfortunately, have to agree that Obama will be the democratic nominee and, judging from the rethuglian clown show, will probably win a second term. Faced with the depressing future of a democratic false flag president governing as a republican the question is how to limit the damage and return to the offensive? My humble [...]
