Casey said to my face and to others in a meeting with him that he would support contaceptives. He lied to me personally. He also supports the XL pipeline. No vote for him or Obama from me. I may not even show up to vote. I have never not voted since I came of age. [...]

we’re tuning out the talking heads and resorting to the Tinker Tailor original DVD set. We’re on parts 5&6. Much more interesting than snooper tuesday.

Here’s the thing—tomorrow’s big news after the am rush will be the iPad 3 and it will most likely displace all of this.

Who’d of ever thunk something that could ever happen?

Don’t know about the problem. I’ve not had it at all and I have some pretty strong internet security programs running.

I’m watching CurrentTV with the young Turks. Cong. Steve Cohen was providing commentary with the crew. Current does not have the need to have DINOs or Reps. so it’s kind of refreshing.

    One more question.

Has Ted Olson come over from the dark side? Or was he just taking a short sabbatical?

    Hi Teddy et al

Watched it Sunday after I got home from church and announced it to everyone. Very well done.

I remember the fun we had trying to cast the Libby trial only to wind up with Sean Penn as Joe Wilson. So wrong.

I’m liking this cast a lot. As for who would play you? Nathan Lane? Phillip Michael Seymore?

damn. I can’t stay up late and watch it. Gotta preach tomorrow on the separation of church and state!

BTW I think Kevin Bacon was raised a Unitarian at First UU Philly. Can’t get more liberal religiously than that.

I’m tired of only the Christians and Catholics asserting that everyone needs to asceed to their “moral” consciences. Yes it seems absurd but it is just pointing out the absurdity of the way congress and the administration prostrate themselves before anyone wielding a cross. I am SO tired of it. Sometimes you have to use [...]

the fancy new churches are in the suburbs but they are still part of the Philly archdioces. Don’t see the archbishop pouring money into the city. That’s not what they do. No they are building big beautiful churches and schools in the burbs.

I don’t know about elsewhere but around the Philly metro area everywhere you look there’s a big new shiny Catholic chruch with all the bells and whistles imaginable. I don’t know whether or not they are filling the pews but I think the archdiocesis is sinking whatever cash they have into the ground so that [...]

I am so deeply sick and tired of this all. If there was a place I could move to I would. Mr. Rev. and I were talking on the way home from seeing the Scottsboro Boys last night about how screwed the country is. Read “They Thought They Were Free” and then “It Can’t Happen [...]

I so wish I hadn’t seen this coming 3 1/2 years ago after the FISA cave. I then wrote repeatedly—he is not the messiah, he will disappoint us. Get used to it—and I got flamed a lot around here and stopped commenting. Yet he is far worse than even I imagined. Don’t think I’ll be [...]

What a great loss. I remember Mary from back in the blogspot days. She had immense knowledge, a razor sharp analytical mind and a great sense of humor. I was in awe.

I read this earlier on Marcy’s site and am glad to see it cross-posted here. Thank you.

I remember SGK having right wing links at least a decade or more ago. I think this has been part of their stealth agenda for a long time. Have never contributed to anything sponsored by them for that reason.

Good to see it “coming out” in such a big way.

I spend most Tuesday afternoons in the recovery room of the local PP with women post procedure. PP is struggling all over right now and we will be seeing many of their clinics closing. The Obama admin. has been aiding the demise of PP, perhaps not as directly as they allowed ACORN to be killed, just slower.

Women are being screwed many times over by even the “good guys.” I have little hope this will turn around unless and untill we lose a lot more ground and wake up.
