Pam: Thanks for alerting your readers to this. I intend to write the commissioners immediately against their resolution.
I will take minor issue about what you say about Wake not being a progressive part of the Triangle. The county outlying areas (and suburbs) may be pretty conservative, but Raleigh itself is still very much a progressive place, and the city has already voted on a resolution against the amendment. I think it’s worth making clear.
